Job summary

Boots is seeking a Relief Dispenser to cover stores within a defined UK geography. The role supports pharmacists, dispenses prescriptions and advises patients on medicines to promote safe, effective care.

You’ll work across locations, travel as needed, and develop your healthcare knowledge with ongoing training. Successful candidates will hold the NVQ2 Pharmacy Advisor qualification, have UK right to work, and be willing to travel.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent).
• Ability to travel across the defined geography with full flexibility.
• Current and valid UK right to work; this role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions while ensuring safe supply of medicines.
• Collaborate with store healthcare teams to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new systems and operational processes.
• Support patients to manage their prescriptions and adherence, reducing waste.
