Job summary

Boots is seeking a Relief Dispenser to work across different stores within a defined UK geography. You will support pharmacists, dispense prescriptions, and advise patients on medicines, helping ensure safe and effective pharmacy services.

The role involves travelling across the region, completing pre-employment checks, and contributing to a patient-friendly healthcare experience in Boots stores.

Qualifications

• Completed the Pharmacy Advisor qualification NVQ2 (or equivalent).
• Ability to travel across the defined geography with full flexibility.
• Current and valid UK right to work. This role is not eligible for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker Visa.

Responsibilities

• Prescription dispensing while ensuring the safe supply of medicines.
• Work with store healthcare professionals to deliver pharmacy services.
• Provide care and advice to patients about medicines and refer queries to the Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Follow SOPs to support safe and legal dispensing of prescriptions.
• Keep up to date with new store innovations and comply with processes.
• Help patients manage their prescriptions and adherence to reduce waste.
