Job summary

Its Building People is seeking a Multi-Skilled Warehouse & Transport Operative in the Southampton area. The role covers planning daily deliveries, routing, and occasional driving of company vehicles, with emphasis on efficient logistics and accurate records.

Ideal candidates will have driving/transport planning experience, London route knowledge, and warehouse skills including goods in and order picking. A full UK driving licence is required.

Multi-Skilled Warehouse & Transport Operative

Location: Southampton Area
Pay: £12.71 - £13.00 per hour
Hours: 39 hours per week

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm (1 hour lunch)
• Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm (1 hour lunch)

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Multi-Skilled Warehouse & Transport Operative to join a busy and growing team.

This is a varied role that would suit someone with experience in driving, route planning, and warehouse operations. Experience planning deliveries into London and surrounding areas would be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Planning and routing daily deliveries
• Driving company vehicles when required
• Coordinating transport schedules and customer deliveries
• Assisting with goods in and stock control
• Picking and packing orders during quieter periods
• Supporting the warehouse team as required
• Maintaining accurate delivery and transport records

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
