Blackpool Transport is looking for a skilled, reliable and proactive Multi-Skilled Technician to join our Tramway Engineering team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong electrical, mechanical or general engineering maintenance experience who wants to work in a unique operational environment, supporting one of the most recognisable tramway networks in the country.
As a Multi-Skilled Technician, you will play a key role in keeping our tramway assets safe, reliable and ready for service. You will carry out planned and reactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, inspections and repairs across trams, plant, depot equipment and associated systems.
You will work as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team, helping to minimise asset downtime and support the safe and efficient delivery of tramway operations. The role will involve diagnosing faults, completing repairs, maintaining accurate records, working safely and supporting wider engineering activities where required.
The work is varied and hand-on, covering a range of engineering disciplines including but not limited to electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance, fabrication, bodywork, flooring, interior repairs, and the inspection and testing of rolling stock, depot equipment, and other associated systems.
