The Guinness Partnership is seeking a Multi Skilled Technician - Joiner to join our Essex team. You will deliver responsive repairs and general multi-skilled work, with additional Plumbing skills advantageous. The successful candidate must have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in the primary trade and reside in Essex. A full UK driving licence is essential and a basic DBS will be provided.

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Technician - Joiner to join our Essex team, delivering responsive repairs and general multi-skilled work. Additional skills in Plumbing are advantageous for this role.
This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week covering the hours between 8am - 7pm Monday - Friday plus Saturday morning. The later shift and Saturday morning working is delivered on a rota basis. The role also includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota, which comes with an additional payment. To ensure timely access to our residents, the successful candidate must live within the Essex area. A full UK manual driving licence is essential. A basic DBS check is required, which will be paid for by Guinness.
You must be able to demonstrate competence within your primary trade, with the ability to carry out various multi-trade tasks such as basic plumbing, tiling, joinery, groundwork, mould washes/treatment and flooring installation. Experience of working in a customer-focused environment, ideally within the social housing sector, with a consistent track record of delivering high quality service. Proven ability to work methodically, achieve targets, follow agreed procedures and accurately record information. Ability to work with minimal supervision, demonstrating organisational and time management skills. Ability to carry out physical tasks and apply products that remove and treat damp and mould, in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines. Ability to operate safely, considering any environmental circumstances and possible risks.
NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification or an equivalent recognised competency in the primary trade.
