Job summary

The Guinness Partnership is seeking a Multi Skilled Technician - Joiner to join our Essex team, delivering responsive repairs and general multi-skilled work. Additional skills in Plumbing are advantageous for this role. This is a permanent role, working 40 hours per week covering 8am–7pm Monday–Friday plus Saturday morning on a rota.

A full UK driving licence is essential. A basic DBS check is required, paid for by Guinness, and the role includes participation in an out-of-hours callout rota

Qualifications

• You must demonstrate competence within your primary trade and carry out multi-trade tasks such as basic plumbing, tiling, joinery, groundwork, mould washes/treatment and flooring installation.
• Experience in a customer-focused environment, ideally within the social housing sector, with a track record of high-quality service.
• Proven ability to work methodically, hit targets, follow procedures and record information accurately.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Deliver responsive repairs and general multi-skilled work across Essex.
• Carry out tasks including basic plumbing, tiling, joinery, groundwork and flooring installation.
• Work with customers and maintain high service standards.
• Record information accurately and follow established procedures.
• Participate in an out-of-hours callout rota and on-call when required.
