Job summary

Multi-Skilled Shift Engineer required for a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing operation in Greater London. You will diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and automation faults, and deliver planned and reactive maintenance to maximise equipment availability.

You will drive CI projects, support production with proactive problem solving and root cause analysis, and help improve OEE and downtime metrics. Rotating days and nights with opportunities for career progression.

Qualifications

• Time-served multi-skilled engineer or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with automated production equipment.
• Willingness to rotate days/nights.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and automation faults.
• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance to maximise availability.
• Drive continuous improvement projects to boost reliability and efficiency.
• Support production with proactive problem solving and root-cause analysis.
• Work with site KPIs such as OEE and downtime reduction.
• Maintain high safety, quality and engineering standards.
• Coach operators and share technical knowledge.
