Responsibilities

• Carrying out modifications and installations; maintain, repair and calibrate electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant to optimise reliability.
• Provide a service ensuring key performance indicators are met and liaise with contractors or external suppliers when required.
• Complete paperwork and produce reports accurately and on time.
• Work to high standards, following company policies; report deficiencies that affect service delivery, safety or the environment.
• Ensure own work and that of supervised staff is safe and diligently performed.

HOURS: 42 Hours ( Shift Pattern 4 Days on, 6 Days off, 4 Nights on, 4 Days off, 3 Days on, 3 Nights on, 4 days off)

We're looking for an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer – Electrical Bias to work with a key Mitie client to conduct work that provides a multi-skilled maintenance service, covering electrical and mechanical disciplines, and to provide a reactive and pro-active maintenance service as per site requirements to all operational equipment.

Role Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for carrying out modifications and installations when required, maintaining, repairing, and calibrating electrical, mechanical and instrumentation plant to optimise both reliability and maintainability.

• You will provide a service that ensures all key performance indicators are met and liaise with contractors or external suppliers where required.

• You will need to complete any required paperwork and produce reports accurately and on a timely basis.

• You should carry out work to high standards and in line with current company policies and procedures, reporting any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery, or risk to health and safety, or the environment.

• You will be responsible for ensuring your own work and the work of those under supervision is completed in a safe and diligent manner.

• You will need to be able to read and understand technical drawings.
