Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd in Livingston is seeking a Multi Skilled Operator to join a well-established manufacturing partner. The role offers a £27,000 salary with a Monday-to-Friday two-shift pattern: 6am–1:30pm and 1:30pm–9:30pm, finishing at 7pm on Fridays.

You will operate and set up enclosing and finishing machinery, perform quality checks, troubleshoot basic machine issues and ensure all work is produced safely and to required standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating machinery in manufacturing/production.
• Good mechanical awareness to set up, adjust and troubleshoot machinery.
• Strong attention to detail with focus on quality and accuracy.
• Ability to follow job tickets, production schedules, procedures and specifications.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and working securely.
• Reliable team player who can meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines, load materials and adjust settings to meet job specifications.
• Monitor collation, sealing and finishing quality throughout production.
• Complete quality checks, reconciliations and production records accurately.
• Prepare completed work for despatch while maintaining data and security standards.
• Keep machinery and work areas clean, report faults and support other operators.

Monday to Friday 2 Shift Pattern - 6am- 13:30pm and 13:30pm-21:30pm with a 7pm Friday finish.

In this role, you'll be responsible for operating and setting up a range of enclosing and finishing machinery, ensuring products are produced accurately, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
