Job summary

Klöckner Pentaplast Europe GmbH & Co. KG in the UK is seeking a hands-on Machine Setter for the Extrusion Department to keep production safe, efficient and on target. You will support equipment reliability and manage changeovers.

Reporting to the Operational Team Leader, you will perform first-line maintenance, fault finding and process control, while maintaining quality standards and documenting activities.

The Machine Setter plays a vital role in ensuring the safe, efficient and self-sufficient operation of the manufacturing cell. This role is critical in supporting equipment reliability, operational performance and changeover activities.

Working closely with the Operational Team Leader (OTL), the Machine Setter is responsible for first-line maintenance, basic repairs, fault identification, machine setting, production changeovers and process control. The role requires a good understanding of mechanical and electrical systems to support equipment performance, minimise downtime and maintain production output within the Extrusion Department.
