Job summary

Klöckner Pentaplast Europe GmbH & Co. KG is seeking a Logistics Operative (FLT driver) to join our Featherstone-based logistics team. You will ensure safe, efficient movement of materials and finished goods across the warehouse and manufacturing operations.

The role includes operating FLT equipment, loading/unloading vehicles, stock movements, and WMS usage. Training on the WMS will be provided, with a rotating shift pattern including days, nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English required.
• FLT Counterbalance Licence required.
• Experience in warehouse/logistics/manufacturing environment preferred.
• Knowledge of health, safety, quality and hygiene standards.
• Understanding of warehouse processes and stock control.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts (days, nights, weekends).
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Knowledge of 5S workplace organisation.
• Problem-solving and continuous improvement experience.

Logistics Operative (FLT driver)

Location: Featherstone, West Yorkshire
Working Hours: Average 42 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Rotating days, nights and weekends as part of a continuous shift pattern

About the Role

We are looking for a Logistics Operative to join our Logistics Team. Reporting to the Logistics Operational Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse and manufacturing operation.

The role involves operating FLT equipment, loading and unloading vehicles, managing stock movements, and supporting inventory control activities. Full training will be provided on our Warehouse Management System (WMS).
