Job summary

Yeo Valley is seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Operator for the Base Supply Team at the Cannington facility. You will operate and maintain milk mixing systems, follow recipes and schedules, and ensure quality through routine checks and proper batch recording.

You will work 4 on 4 off shifts (0600–18:00) and collaborate with production and QA to maintain hygiene and safe working practices. The company emphasizes care, development, and shared ownership across its teams.

Qualifications

• Experience as a machine operator in a production environment.
• Able to undertake manual tasks.
• Basic food hygiene knowledge desirable.
• HACCP knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

As a key player in the production process, you’ll be responsible for the accurate preparation and mixing of milk - the critical base of our product line. Your role will involve operating mixing equipment, monitoring quality standards, maintaining hygiene protocols, and ensuring efficient, on-time supply to downstream production.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Operate and maintain milk mixing systems and associated equipment
• Accurately follow mixing recipes and production schedules
• Conduct routine quality checks and maintain batch records
• Collaborate with production and QA teams to ensure consistency and compliance
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Assist with inventory, stock rotation, and general plant support
• The shifts follow a 4 on 4 off days working pattern between 0600-18:00 (12 hour shifts).
