Job summary

Mackellar is recruiting experienced operators for our Carmichael Mine site in Queensland. We offer competitive pay rates of $66.71ph plus super on all rostered hours, with FIFO flights from Townsville, Rockhampton or Cairns.

The role follows a 7/7 roster with optional OT on day shift, and camp, pit and airport are all within 5 minutes of site.Our on-site village provides meals, gym and recreation areas, and a new fleet of machines is built for safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a mining environment operating large Dozers and Haul Trucks, plus one of: water truck, grader, small digger or 980 loader.
• RII competencies (or verified within the past 5 years).
• Current Standard 11 and Driver’s Licence.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Mackellar is proud to be the mining services contractor for Bravus’ Carmichael Mine, and together we’re creating jobs and opportunities across regional Queensland. With production in full swing at our site in the Galilee Basin, we’re expanding our team and looking for experienced operators to join us.

What You’ll Need
