Job summary

New England Seafood is seeking full-time permanent Food Production Operatives to join our Chessington site (KT9 1TW). You will work on day shift (7:00am–7:00pm) or night shift (7:00pm–7:00am) on a 4 on 4 off pattern, with a supportive team and leaders who have grown within the business.

No previous experience required—just a willingness to learn, good English, and a strong team spirit. We offer 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pension, life insurance, staff discounts, on-site parking,

Responsibilities

• Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, start up checks) to start a production cycle.
• Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed).
• Feed raw material or parts to semi-automated machines.
• Load products into trays and bags as per customer specifications.
• Prepare finished products ready for despatch and deliveries.
• Ensure all products and packaging are correctly labelled.
• Add cardboard sleeves to packed products.
• Ensure stock being loaded or unloaded matches the relevant paperwork / load plan.
• Maintain a safe, clean and tidy working environment.
• Manual Handling Equipment in a safe and timely manner.

Who is New England Seafood International? New England Seafood International (NESI) was established in 1991 and is an importer and processor of premium fresh and frozen sustainable fish and seafood. Salary: Day shift £26,298.25 - £30,804.35 or Night shift £28,827.70 - £33,333.80 per annum

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off

Hours: Day shift 7:00am - 7:00pm or Night shift 7:00pm – 7:00am

You will be working with a great team who are fun and supported by leaders who themselves have grown through the business and are waiting to pass on their knowledge and expertise!
