Mears Group in Brighton is seeking a Multi-skilled Operative to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance across Voids social housing properties. You will work across carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling and decorating, delivering high-quality fixes and ensuring safety and customer service in residents’ homes.
Applicants must have a Full UK driving licence, experience in multiple trades, and the ability to work independently.
Annual salary: up to £38,000.00

Salary up to £38,000 per annum, plus company van & fuel card. 42.5 hours per week (8-5 Monday- Friday)
We are looking for a Multi Skilled Operative to join our team in Brighton. You will be carrying out a variety of property maintenance tasks, including painting, plastering, brickwork, carpentry, tiling, silicone/mastic works, groundworks and minor plumbing in Void properties. The role requires a delivering high-quality repairs and installations across domestic properties. With a strong pipeline of work and a commitment to improving social housing standards, this is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that’s making a real difference in the community. We’re looking for someone reliable, skilled across multiple trades, and passionate about getting the job done right the first time.

To drive a Mears vehicle, you must be aged over 21 have held your licence over 3 months and have less than 9 points.
