Job summary

Sodexo Ltd is seeking a Multi Skilled Security Officer for Sevington Inland Border Facility in Ashford, Kent. The role focuses on maintaining a secure environment while delivering excellent customer service to employees, visitors and clients.

The position requires vigilance, adherence to site protocols and effective response to emergencies. A strong sense of responsibility, calm under pressure and reliable teamwork are essential to succeed.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence – essential for this role.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic IT skills and confidence using security systems, radios, or reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Be professional, pleasant, friendly, courteous and helpful at all times whilst carrying out duties of heighest level.
• Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies, ensuring customers are consistently informed throughout the process.
• Provide assistance to clients, contractors and visitors ensuring all site procedures and polices are adhered to.
• To liaise closely with statutory authorities, dealing with incidents and providing information to support.
• Continuous monitoring of site radio systems adhering to the correct procedures.
• Maintaining site records such as reference materials, incident forms and site occurrence book.
• To develop excellent working relationships with our on site client.

This position requires a dependable individual who can remain alert, enforce site protocols, and respond effectively to various situations. You’ll be a visible presence on site, combining vigilance with excellent customer service to support Sodexo’s commitment to operational excellence and safety.
