Job summary

The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking a maintenance technician with a background in mechanical work within building services. You will interpret drawings, work under supervision and as part of a team, with training provided to cover diverse plant installations and NHS standards.

Qualifications

• NVQ 3 or equivalent qualification in a relevant trade.
• Health and safety qualifications (IOSH or CSCS) and related modules are desirable.
• Experience with mechanical work in building maintenance and safety procedures.
• Experience in NHS hospital environment is desirable.
• Installation/maintenance experience in industrial, domestic or commercial settings.
