Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a Mobile Mechanical/HVAC Engineer for a Hampshire-based role covering approximately 160 sites. The position is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a basic salary of £40,000–£44,000 and a Monday–Friday schedule.

The engineer will perform PPMs, reactive maintenance and fault finding, and ensure building services meet safety standards while managing workload across multiple sites with pre-planned schedules.

Qualifications

• Mechanical maintenance background required.
• Air conditioning qualification preferred or required.
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience is essential.

Ideal Base: Southampton / Winchester
Salary: £40,000 - £44,000
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

We are recruiting for a Mobile Mechanical/HVAC Engineer to join a leading Facilities Management contract covering approximately 160 sites across Hampshire.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)
• Reactive maintenance and fault finding
• Mechanical plant maintenance
• General building services maintenance
• Ensuring compliance and health & safety standards are met
• Managing your own workload across multiple sites with PPM schedules provided one month in advance

Requirements

• Mechanical maintenance background
• Air Conditioning qualification
• Multi-skilled maintenance experience
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Basic DBS check
• Non-Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV)

Additional Information

Air conditioning work is expected to make up approximately 10% of the role. Therefore, we are ideally seeking a multi-skilled, mechanically biased engineer who also holds AC qualifications
