Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in London is seeking a Multi-skilled Technician to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical and electrical building systems. You will inspect equipment, assist with installation and modification, review work orders, and support energy management while operating on a continental shift pattern (7-7 days/nights).

Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification and 2+ years job-related experience.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including lifting 50 lbs or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and estimate the time and materials needed to complete repairs.
• Work with available systems to manage and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect new or existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
