Job summary

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Maintenance Technician (Multi-skilled-Electrical Bias) Band 5 at Stepping Hill Hospital in Stockport. The role includes on-site electrical maintenance, with an on-call rota and potential overtime, within a dynamic Estates team.

The successful candidate will have a recognised electrical apprenticeship (City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3), experience with IPS/UPS systems, and be able to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Time served multi-skilled technician with electrical bias.
• Recognised electrical apprenticeship including City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety and risk management techniques.

Responsibilities

• Operational maintenance duties including reactive and planned maintenance to electrical systems.
• Maintain Nurse Call, Lifts, BMS and Pneumatic Tube System; some mechanical work.
• Work on-call rota and overtime as required to support the Trust.
