Job summary

Stockport NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a time-served multi-skilled technician to join the on-site maintenance team at Stepping Hill hospital. The role covers reactive and planned maintenance to electrical distribution and healthcare systems across the Trust's premises, with responsibilities for IPS and UPS.

The candidate should have an electrical apprenticeship with City & Guilds and NVQ Level 3, plus experience with Building Management Systems, Lifts, Nurse Call and Pneumatic Tube System;

Qualifications

• Electrical apprenticeship completed with City and Guilds and NVQ Level 3.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and mechanical systems.
• Good communication and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work overtime and be part of an on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Reactive and planned maintenance of electrical distribution and systems.
• Maintain Nurse Call, Lifts, BMS, and Pneumatic Tube System; basic mechanical work.
• Support other disciplines and cover on-call/out-of-hours when required.
