Job summary

Sodexo Group is seeking a highly skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to maintain critical electrical and building systems across two London buildings. The role emphasizes electrical bias with duties covering PPM, reactive maintenance and fault resolution.

You will deputise for the Technical Services Supervisor when required, supporting broader mechanical services and ensuring safe, efficient operations. On-site presence in London is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer/Technician with a strong electrical bias.
• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Trade with Building Services/Engineering qualifications.
• BS7671 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18).
• C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing would be advantageous.
• Experience with LV electrical systems, MCCs, switchboards, generators, lighting, busbars, inverters, distribution boards and UPS.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance across the two buildings.
• Fault finding and emergency response focusing on electrical systems.
• Support mechanical/building services maintenance as required.
• Deputise for Technical Services Supervisor when needed.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician

We are looking for a dedicated and electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician to join our operations team in London. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, fault finding and emergency response across the building, with a strong focus on electrical systems and equipment.

You will also support mechanical and general building services maintenance as required, ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of the site’s critical infrastructure.

There will also be an opportunity to deputise for and cover the Technical Services Supervisor when required.

Join our team and play a key role in delivering excellence in Hard FM and Technical Facilities Services.

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience working as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer/Technician with a strong electrical bias.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an Electrical Trade, alongside relevant Building Services or Engineering qualifications.
• BS7671 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382-18).
• C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing would be advantageous.
• Strong hands-on experience with LV electrical systems, MCCs, switchboards, generators, lighting, busbars, inverters, distribution boards and UPS systems.
• Broad understanding of mechanical and building services systems, with the ability to carry out basic fault finding and maintenance outside of your core electrical discipline.
• Practical understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS).
• Experience using CAFM systems and good IT literacy.
• IOSH, CSCS Card and/or Safe Pass would be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently, take ownership and prioritise workload effectively.
• Calm and professional under pressure, particularly when responding to reactive faults or emergencies.
• Flexible, reliable, adaptable and detail-focused, with a strong team ethic.
• Willingness and ability to deputise for the Technical Services Supervisor when required.
