Job summary

Lancer Scott, based in Bristol, is seeking a maintenance professional to deliver building services work across Bristol and Gloucester, with a focus on plumbing and related tasks. You will handle 1st/2nd fix plumbing, plasterboard work, decorating, and materials coordination, while communicating clearly with clients and keeping detailed records.

You will also support the account and billing teams with queries and documentation, ensuring projects run smoothly and meet client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience in general Building Services Maintenance work.
• Well developed communication skills and able to work with internal and external stakeholders.
• Able to produce clear and professional notes and emails.
• Comfortable working with multiple systems and maintaining accurate records.
• A problem solving mindset, with a practical application.

Responsibilities

• Carry out building services maintenance tasks in Bristol and Gloucester.
• Install and make good plasterboard, skirting and boxing in various spaces.
• Perform 1st and 2nd fix plumbing in hospitality spaces and general repairs.
• Carry out decorating projects internally and externally.
• Request materials and coordinate with helpdesk to ensure delivery.
• Purchase additional materials and equipment as needed.
• Liaise with clients and explain issues on a job.
• Update job log and upload documentation.
• Support Account Manager and Billing Team with query management for invoicing.

What will be my core responsibilities?

You will cover the Bristol and Gloucester areas carrying out a range of building services work orders, with a focus on plumbing.

• Instal and make good plasterboard, skirting and boxing in on a range of different spaces.
• 1st and 2nd fix plumbing in different hospitality spaces, along with general repairs.
• Carry out a range of decorating projects both internally and externally.
• Ensure all required materials are requested and cross check with the helpdesk to make sure they are delivered to the correct address.
• Purchase additional materials and equipment if necessary.
• Liaise with the client on any queries and be comfortable explaining any issues/challenges on a job.
• Confirm each job meets the required standards and provide paperwork for the clients records.
• Update the job log with notes and upload relevant documentation.
• Support the Account Manager and Billing Team with query management to aid the invoicing process.
