Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is working with a family-owned manufacturing business in Doncaster to recruit a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) on the PM shift. Salary £35,000–£40,000 plus training, progression, and overtime opportunities.

In this role you will perform PPMs, breakdown repairs, fault finding, and safety inspections on production machinery, FLTs, and HGVs, coordinating with production and transport teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with PPMs, breakdown repairs, fault finding, and safety inspections.
• Experience with production machinery and industrial equipment.
• Background in mechanical or electrical maintenance.

Responsibilities

• PPMs and breakdown repairs on production machinery.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs on mechanical and basic electrical systems.
• Record service work and minimise downtime with production teams.
• Support maintenance to drive safety and efficiency across the line.
