Job summary

ATA Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a highly automated manufacturing site in North Birmingham. The role offers a strong base salary with significant OTE, and progression into senior/leadership roles.

You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems, and support continuous improvement across conveyors, robotics and presses. Training and progression are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Engineering qualification.
• Electrical and/or mechanical maintenance experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, production or industrial environments.
• Strong fault-finding skills.
• Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance.
• Experience with automated machinery, conveyors, robotics or PLCs is advantageous.
• A positive attitude and good team-working skills.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Reactive and breakdown maintenance.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding.
• Maintaining conveyors, robotics, presses and automated machinery.
• Working on 3-phase electrical systems and industrial controls.
• Supporting continuous improvement projects.
• Reducing downtime and improving equipment reliability.
• Working as part of a large engineering team.
