Job summary

PPM Recruitment is seeking a proactive Multi-Skilled Engineer to maintain, repair and improve equipment, machinery and facilities. You will perform PPM and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and troubleshoot breakdowns to minimise downtime.

Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, the ability to work independently or in a team, and a proactive attitude to preventative maintenance. AM2 qualification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-skilled engineering or maintenance role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and preventative maintenance.
• Flexible, reliable and committed to maintaining high standards.
• Must have AM2.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Complete repairs, inspections and equipment servicing.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
