10 Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a manufacturing business in Huddersfield to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer. You will maintain production machinery and help keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, and experience with motors, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics. A recognised engineering qualification or relevant experience is expected. Salary £43,000–£45,000, permanent full-time.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer in manufacturing or industrial settings.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge with fault-finding ability.
• Experience with motors, drives, hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with focus on machinery reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery.
• Diagnose faults during breakdowns and perform repairs to minimise downtime.
• Undertake mechanical and electrical fault-finding on equipment.
• Maintain and repair motors, drives, gearboxes and conveyors.
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems and ensure safe operation.
