Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Bedford | £55,000 | Panama Shift - Days & Nights

A Bedford-based process plant is looking for two multi-skilled Maintenance Engineers to join its engineering team. This is a machinery-heavy manufacturing environment, suited to an engineer with strong fault-finding, breakdown and planned maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Reactive and planned maintenance across production machinery
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding
• Supporting continuous improvement and site reliability
• Working closely with production to minimise downtime

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance engineering experience
• Mechanical or electrical bias considered
• Background in manufacturing, processing, packaging, FMCG or another machinery-intensive environment
• Confident working on both breakdowns and preventative maintenance

Package

• Salary: circa £55,000
• Panama shift pattern, rotating days and nights:
• Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday
• Every other weekend off
