Job summary

Workforce Staffing is seeking a proactive Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing site. The role ensures production equipment and site facilities remain safe, efficient, and fully operational.

Responsibilities include responding to breakdowns, supporting the PPM programme, and carrying out routine maintenance and checks, with a strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance engineering role is required.
• Strong mechanical maintenance skills are essential.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems is desirable.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities are needed.

Responsibilities

• Respond to machinery breakdowns and carry out repairs.
• Support Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme.
• Fault-find and resolve mechanical issues on production equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks including lubrication and servicing.
• Conduct weekly forklift truck (FLT) maintenance checks.
• Carry out fire alarm and emergency lighting testing.
• Order maintenance consumables and spare parts.
• Work with production and management teams to minimise downtime.
