Job summary

Samworth Brothers is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) in Coventry. You will maintain production lines with proactive and reactive maintenance while prioritising safety and quality across processes.

Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in electrical trades, plus experience fault-finding in a manufacturing setting, control panels, inverter drives and pneumatics. You will collaborate with teams and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualification at level 3 NVQ or equivalent.
• Experience of fault finding with and without drawings.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Good knowledge of electrical control panels, inverter drives and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to use initiative and keep stakeholders informed.

Responsibilities

• Keep production moving with proactive and reactive maintenance activities.
• Contribute ideas for continuous improvement and long-term solutions.
• Develop skills and understanding of machinery on site and new equipment.
• Maintain strong focus on Food Safety and Health & Safety in all work.
• Record and report information to provide insights to internal stakeholders and drive improvements.
• Communicate effectively with production and other stakeholders to build good relationships and deliver good service.
