Job summary

Synergi Recruitment is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a leading international service provider delivering textile, hygiene and facility solutions across the UK. You will maintain and improve industrial equipment, work with the Engineering Manager and Senior Engineers, and support site projects.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in manufacturing, NVQ Level 3/4 in Engineering, a strong electrical and mechanical background, and experience reading drawings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing or process environment.
• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Engineering, or equivalent (HND/C&G/BTEC).
• Multi-skilled background with strong electrical and mechanical ability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance on industrial machinery safely and efficiently.
• Support continuous improvement projects, finding innovative solutions to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
• Work with contractors to ensure safe and compliant practices on site.
• Maintain strong communication with Production and the Engineering team, ensuring smooth handovers and minimal disruption.
• Record maintenance and PPM activities accurately in the CMMS system.
• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety standards and company procedures.
• Contribute to improving reliability, cost efficiency, and equipment longevity.
