Job summary

Argon Engineering Limited in Bradford is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy production environment. You will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across the site, keeping machinery running safely and with minimal downtime.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, fault-finding skills, and a proactive approach to improving machinery reliability.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across production equipment.
• Respond promptly to machinery breakdowns and minimise production downtime.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, valves, belts, bearings, sensors, control systems and associated plant.
• Identify recurring faults and support improvements to machinery reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and engineering paperwork.
• Assist with maintaining appropriate spare-parts stock.
• Work safely and in accordance with site engineering and health & safety procedures.
• Support the wider engineering and production teams when required.
