Continental Shift Pattern 2 Days & 2 Nights rotating
Ramsbottom
Salary: upto £51,271 + benefits

We now have an opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a Mechanical bias to join our busy Maintenance Team at our Ramsbottom site.

Mission: Working as part of the team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure the continuous operation of the production process by minimizing engineering downtime through safe and effective fault finding and maintenance of equipment. You will work on an alternating 24/7 shift pattern, supporting manufacturing facilities across the site. You will ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations, follow company policies, and meet departmental and site KPIs. Promoting continuous improvement (CI) to enhance department and site performance.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• Determination to succeed
• Qualified, ideally NVQ level 3, time-served apprentice trained in engineering
• Multi-skilled and mechanically biased
• Skilled in ARC welding
• Hydraulics experience is a plus
• Self-motivated and proactive in planning work and improvements
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
