Job summary

CV Technical is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a double days shift in Ripley. You will cover electrical and mechanical maintenance, reactive breakdown support and planned preventative maintenance across a range of production equipment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer in a production or manufacturing environment.
• Confident with both mechanical and electrical fault finding.
• Good working knowledge of automated machinery and production lines.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
• Work on machinery including extruders, cutters, finishers, conveyors, belts, bearings, lathes, printers.
• Electrical fault finding on PLCs (I/O level only), inverters, drives, relays, sensors.
• Mechanical maintenance on hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical drives, belting systems.
• Assist in improving reliability and minimising downtime.
• Welding/fabrication experience is advantageous but not essential.

About the Role:

We're looking for a proactive and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Ripley. This is a double days shift role, covering both electrical and mechanical maintenance, supporting breakdowns, reactive and planned work across a wide range of production equipment.

You'll be joining a small but skilled team where your expertise will be valued and put to good use in a varied and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to breakdowns quickly and effectively
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance
• Work on a range of machinery including:
  • Extruders, cutters, finishers, conveyors, belts, bearings, lathes, printers
• Electrical fault finding on:
