Job summary

HVAC Recruitment is seeking a solid Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to work at a major corporate head office in Uxbridge. You will handle everyday maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems in a busy office environment and contribute to a small team, with a varied workload and hands-on responsibilities.

Working Monday to Friday, no nights, with a rotating early/late shift pattern and call-out duties.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial building maintenance, mechanical and electrical tasks.
• Knowledge of pumps, FCUs and water hygiene.
• Experience with PPMs and reactive maintenance, fault finding and basic electrical tasks.
• Ability to work independently and handle a variety of trades.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day maintenance across building services at a corporate head office.
• Respond to mechanical and electrical faults with a hands-on approach.
• Work within a small team and liaise with clients to maintain service standards.
• Support proactive maintenance and contribute to site improvements.

Looking for a solid all-round maintenance role with a good package and a genuinely decent site?

We're recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to work at a major corporate head office in Uxbridge.

It's a small engineering team, so they're looking for someone who is happy to get stuck in, work independently and deal with the everyday maintenance issues rather than someone who wants to specialise in one thing.

The Site

You'll be working at a large corporate head office in Uxbridge.

It's an office environment rather than a manufacturing site, with around people on site on a busy day.

The engineering team is small, so you'll have plenty of variety and responsibility.

Anything highly specialist is dealt with by specialist contractors, so you don't need to be the finished article technically.

What we're looking for

We're after a good all-round maintenance engineer with a mechanical bias.

You'll ideally have experience with:

• Commercial building maintenance


• Mechanical maintenance


• Plumbing


• Pumps and FCUs


• Water hygiene


• PPMs and reactive maintenance


• Fault finding


• Basic electrical maintenance


• Lighting and emergency lighting

Most importantly, you need to be the type of engineer who gets stuck in.

Someone who can:

• Work independently


• Pick up everyday faults


• Turn their hand to different trades


• Deal professionally with the client


• Take ownership rather than saying \"that's not my job\"

The Important Bit:

You'll get two weeks of onsite support and training when you start. After that, you'll have your own site pass and be trusted to get on with the job.

The current engineer is leaving at the end of the month, so they're looking to move quickly for the right person.
