Job Description:

Elevation Recruitment is seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join one of our manufacturing clients based in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, with immediate effect.

Responsibilities:

• Provide electrical and mechanical support to production and equipment at all times
• Work initially on day and evening shifts to familiarize with the role
• Maintain detailed logs of events, including failure reports and PPMs
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Fault finding on PLCs, including Siemens and Mitsubishi
• Attend to breakdowns to minimize machinery downtime
• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on machinery such as shredders, pulling machines, large ovens, guillotines, packaging machinery, and inverters

Candidate Requirements:

• Strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Apprentice-trained with NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND/ONC/OND or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Experience fault finding on PLCs
• Team player with the ability to work independently
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Previous experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer
