Job summary

Samworth Brothers is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to maintain production lines and drive safety and efficiency across our site. The role emphasizes proactive maintenance, fault diagnosis, and engagement with stakeholders to support continuous improvement.

You will work within a family-style culture with strong focus on food safety, health and safety, and training opportunities to grow your skills and career.

Qualifications

• Must have an Electrical qualification at Level 3 NVQ or equivalent.
• Experience of fault finding both with and without drawings.

Responsibilities

• Carry out proactive and reactive maintenance to keep production moving.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and longer-term solutions.
• Develop skills and knowledge of machinery on site.
• Maintain strong focus on Food Safety and Health & Safety in your work.
• Record and report information to stakeholders to drive improvement.
• Communicate effectively with production and other stakeholders to provide good customer service.

We have the opportunity for you to join our team as a Multi Skilled Engineer. Some of what you can expect to be doing includes:

• Keep production moving with proactive and reactive maintenance activities
• Put forward ideas for continuous improvement and longer term solutions
• Continue to develop your skills, knowledge and understanding of machinery onsite and new equipment
• Have a strong focus on Food Safety and Health and Safety in your ways of working.
• Record and report information to be able to provide information to your internal stakeholders and to help to drive improvement
• Communicate well with production and other stakeholder to build good relationships and provide a good customer service
