Job Description

We're recruiting on behalf of our client who are looking for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer. Our client has an impressive manufacturing facility and is looking to expand their team. The Person:
  1. NVQ Level 3 (Apprentice Trained).
  2. Approachable, Resilient, Ambitious.
  3. Completed further training (17th/18th edition).
  4. Experienced in a manufacturing environment.
  5. Trustworthy, Motivated, Problem Solver.
  6. Proficient written, numerical, and verbal skills.
  7. Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office family of products.
  8. Experience of Maintenance Management Systems & software.
The Role:
  1. Reactive maintenance - Reacting to breakdowns to ensure production is back running as quickly and safely as possible.
  2. Attend breakdowns promptly and make repairs to the best quality.
  3. Complete regular machine maintenance programmes to reduce downtime and complete relevant paperwork.
  4. PLC fault finding would be an advantage but not essential.
  5. Planned Preventative Maintenance: Ensure planned maintenance is carried out in line with the site schedule.
  6. Liaising with other departments to ensure tasks are completed with little to no impact on operations.
  7. Ensure all engineering work carried out in the value stream meets the requirements of Quality, Safety, Health & Environment policies & procedures.

The Salary will be between £45,000 - £48,000 + Benefits. This role is working Monday to Friday - Rotating Shifts 06:00am - 14:00pm / 14:00pm - 22:00pm.
