Pioneer Selection is assisting a leading FMCG manufacturer in finding a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a brand-new food production site in the UK. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance, breakdown response, and planned preventive maintenance on modern production lines.

We are seeking hands-on engineers with PLC fault-finding capability and a track record in industrial manufacturing. Excellent progression, training, and development opportunities are on offer.

Qualifications

• Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory.
• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on modern production equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and complete PPM tasks.

Shift: 4on 4off days and nights

Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

A new opportunity has opened for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a brand-new, fast-growing food manufacturing plant within a leading FMCG business.

You will carry out both electrical and mechanical maintenance, respond to breakdowns, complete PPM tasks, and support continuous improvement across modern production equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

• Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
• Engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

• Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Experience with working on PLC's, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs
