Job summary

HAWK3 Talent Solutions in the East Riding (YO25) seeks a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a busy FMCG site. This salaried role aims for 48 hours, with a Monday-Thursday 6:00–17:30 and Friday 7:00–12:00, offering £50,000 pa.

You will maintain and improve production equipment, reduce downtime, and support site improvements under the Engineering Manager, with weekend overtime at enhanced rates and commutable from Hessle, Beverley, Bridlington, Hull and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Multi-Skilled Engineer within manufacturing, food production, or FMCG environments.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
• Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production equipment and site machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
• Support the Engineering Manager with maintenance planning and site improvements.
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Work closely with production teams to maintain operational efficiency.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety and food safety standards.
• Maintain clear and accurate maintenance records.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: East Riding, YO25
Salary: £50,000 per annum

Monday-Thursday mostly 6:00-17:30 and Friday PPM 7:00-12:00 ish

Aiming for 48hrs salaried

If PPM completed during the week Friday may not be even required but that would be discussed with engineering manager.

Weekend overtime at overtime rate

About the Role

Due to continued development across a manufacturing FMCG site, Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking to recruit a Multi-Skilled Engineer to strengthen an engineering team based in East Riding.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer to work alongside the Site Engineering Manager in maintaining and improving a modern production facility.

The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping equipment running efficiently, reducing downtime, and supporting ongoing site improvements.

Key Responsibilities
