Multi:Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: East Riding, YO25

Salary: A GBP 50,000 per annum

Working Days Monday to Friday

Commutable from Hessle, Beverley, Bridlington, East Riding, Driffield, Market Weighton, Hull

About The Role

Due to continued development across a manufacturing FMCG site, Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are looking to recruit a Multi:Skilled Engineer to strengthen an engineering team based in East Riding.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands:on engineer to work alongside the Site Engineering Manager in maintaining and improving a modern production facility.

The successful candidate will play a key role in keeping equipment running efficiently, reducing downtime, and supporting ongoing site improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production equipment and site machinery
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime
• Support the Engineering Manager with maintenance planning and site improvements
• Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment
• Work closely with production teams to maintain operational efficiency
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety and food safety standards
• Maintain clear and accurate maintenance records

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience as a Multi:Skilled Engineer within manufacturing, food production, or FMCG environments
• Strong fault:finding and problem:solving ability
• Experience working with mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and organisational skills

Desirable

• Electrical certification or relevant electrical qualifications
