Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)

Location: Huntingdon
Salary: 45,000 PA
Hours: Monday to Friday, flexible start between 06:00-07:00, finish between 14:30-15:30. Early Friday finish (typically by 13:00-14:00)

As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll join a team of engineers responsible for the upkeep and smooth running of both production machinery and general site facilities.

Key Responsibilities as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer?

• Perform diagnosis and repair of mechanical and electrical faults on plant equipment.
• Deliver both reactive and planned preventive maintenance (PPM).
• Install, relocate, and reposition motors and machinery as needed.
• Working closely with line operatives to maintain conveyor systems and pneumatic arms across production lines.
• Support with facilities maintenance including lighting, plumbing, and minor electrical works.
• Adhere to site safety policies including Lockout/Tagout (LOTTO).
• Occasionally support with fabrication and light sheet welding.

Desired Skills & Experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer?

• Proven experience as a Multiskilled Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
• Relevant qualifications NVQ as a minimum.
• Confident with PLC fault finding and testing.
• Hands-on experience with bearings, motors, and pneumatic systems.
• Comfortable working in dusty environments with PPE.
• Able to plan and prioritise workload independently.
• Experience with conveyor belts and production machinery.
