Job Description:

We are seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Basildon. The successful candidate will be responsible for electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation support to ensure the smooth and safe operation of our facilities.

• Perform planned and unplanned maintenance following SAP PM and site procedures.
• Monitor plant performance and implement corrective actions to maximize uptime.
• Conduct Point-of-Work risk assessments and adhere to SOPs and safety practices.
• Update asset registers and maintenance records using tablet devices.
• Participate in root-cause analysis following breakdowns or deviations.
• Handover work effectively during shift changes and communicate with stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

About You:

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or Mechatronics.
• Recent maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong cross-trade skills with a flexible, multi-skilled approach.
• Proven problem-solving skills with logical fault-finding techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and under pressure.
