Job Description:

Elevation is working with an industry-leading plastic manufacturing company based in Barnsley, seeking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer with immediate effect.

Location: Barnsley

Hours: Days and nights - Panama shift

Responsibilities:

• General maintenance and installation of machinery and equipment
• Attending to breakdowns
• Participating in continuous improvement projects
• Developing and completing PPMs regularly
• Liaising with other departments regarding breakdowns and changes
• Working within a team environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• At least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ)
• HNC and HND qualifications are advantageous but not essential
• Sound mechanical engineering knowledge/experience preferred
• Willingness to work shifts
• Experience in fault finding in previous roles
• Manufacturing engineering experience preferred
• Experience working with PLCs
• Excellent communication skills (reading and spoken English)
• Open-minded and flexible to business needs and growth
