Job summary

Enbarr Recruitment and Training is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Co-ordinator to lead a small team of fitters and support safe, reliable site operations. The role emphasises hands-on machining, tooling, and proactive maintenance to minimise disruption and maintain compliance.

You will coordinate maintenance personnel, manage PPM schedules, handle breakdown repairs, and drive factory improvements in a fast-moving manufacturing setting. 37.5h weekly, mornings, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Time-served with at least two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong hands-on maintenance and engineering experience.
• Practical experience in machining and tooling is preferred.
• Experience in a fast-moving manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong fault-finding and mechanical maintenance skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate maintenance personnel, including subcontractors.
• Complete planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules and maintain documentation, including breakdown repair records.
• Manage inventory stock levels using usage analysis records.
• Coordinate prompt breakdown repairs during and outside normal working hours, using internal or external support where required.
• Conduct regular building and machinery inspections to identify and resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and inspection records and report concerns to the Production Manager.
• Competently operate manual machinery, including mills, lathes and grinders.
• Maintain existing tooling and jigs, including documentation and revision updates.
• Diagnose faults, carry out repairs and implement effective solutions.
• Work with the Production Manager to identify and implement factory improvements.
• Build effective working relationships across support functions to optimise factory performance.

Monday to Thursday, 6:00am to 4:15pm. (OFF FRIDAY)

A local manufacturing company is looking for an experienced multi skilled maintenance co-ordinator to manage and coordinate a small team of maintenance fitters while supporting the safe, reliable and efficient operation of site equipment and all facilities.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in machining and tooling, preferably within a fast-moving production environment. The role will provide effective maintenance support, minimise production disruption and ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.

Hours: Mon to Thurs 6am to 4.15pm and Fridays off
