Multi-Skilled Machine Operator

Pontefract (home of Butterkist Popcorn)

Night shift initially, likely to move to 3-shift rotation within the next 12 months (06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00/22:00-06:00)

What will you be doing?

• Competently operating numerous machines including packing and processing lines
• Efficiently carrying out assigned operations or tasks, meeting all output targets
• Contributing to improved line performance and efficiencies
• Maintaining excellent housekeeping, health & safety, and hygiene standards
• Resolving running problems/issues
• Carrying out all testing procedures for product as required
• Ensuring all work stages meet quality standards
• Cleaning lines after changeovers or shutdowns
• Following IWS ways of working principles
