Job summary

Service Care Solutions are recruiting a Multi-Skilled Joiner for a local authority's Landlord Services team in Loughborough. The role covers a wide range of joinery repairs across council properties and public buildings, with opportunities in responsive repairs and multi-skilled works.

You will work directly with tenants, liaising with other trades and the wider repairs team, with occasional out-of-hours and emergency duties. A driving licence is often required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or City & Guilds in Carpentry/Joinery or equivalent.
• Time-served apprenticeship in Carpentry and Joinery or substantial relevant experience.
• Proven joinery repairs and maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a wide range of joinery repairs, replacements, maintenance and upgrade works.
• Undertake responsive repairs and works within void properties.
• Inspect disrepair areas and determine repair or replacement solutions.
• Complete works promptly and within agreed timescales.
• Maintain a safe working environment in line with health and safety.
