Build Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Multi Skilled Joiner for social housing projects in Birmingham. The role is a 12-week temp-to-perm contract with duties covering repairs and maintenance in social housing properties.

The successful candidate will have prior multi-skilled joinery experience, a full clean driving licence (up to 5 points), and a proactive approach to safety and quality in line with company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Carpenter or Multi Skilled Joiner in social housing or maintenance.
• Fencing experience.
• Full, clean driving licence (maximum 5 points).

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on Social Housing properties, ensuring work meets high quality standards.
• Take ownership of assigned work to resolve issues on first visit.
• Complete tasks within budgets and timelines to maintain efficiency.
• Operate in line with Health and Safety policies.
• Stay up to date with technical advancements and legal requirements relevant to the role.
• Perform duties with minimal supervision while upholding professionalism and quality.

Multi Skilled Joiner Social Housing – Birmingham

At Build Recruitment, we work exclusively with built environment specialists around the UK.

Our client is looking for an experienced Multi-Trade Joiner to join their team for a 12 week temp to perm contract working on social housing in Birmingham.The successful Multi-Trade Joinerwill have experience working onboth reactive and planned maintenance.

The pay rate for this role is £24PH CIS and it comes with a van and fuel card.

Duties of the successful Multi Skilled Joinerwill include:

• Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on Social Housing properties, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards.
• Take ownership of assigned work, aiming to resolve issues on the first visit to minimise repeat visits and disruptions.
• Complete all tasks within allocated budgets and timelines to maintain operational efficiency.
• Operate in accordance with company Health and Safety policies to ensure a safe working environment.
• Keep up to date with the latest technical advancements and legal requirements relevant to your areas of expertise.
• Execute duties with minimal supervision whilst maintaining professionalism and a strong commitment to quality.

Essential criteria:

• Previous experience in a Carpenter role / Multi Skilled
• Fencing experience
• Full, clean driving licence (maximum 5 points)
