Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience in both mechanical fitting and electrical troubleshooting/assembly.
• Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Comfortable working on bespoke, custom-built machinery rather than just standard, repetitive production lines.
• Willingness to travel to various site locations (a valid UK driving license essential).

Responsibilities

• Field Service & Maintenance: Travel to customer sites to perform routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and diagnostics on bespoke machinery and automated systems.
• Workshop Assembly: Build, wire, and mechanically assemble custom machinery and sub-assemblies at our facility when not deployed on-site.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and rectify complex electrical and mechanical faults efficiently to minimize client downtime.
• Customer Relations: Act as a professional technical representative of the company while on-site, providing clear updates and excellent service to clients.
• Documentation: Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and commissioning checklists accurately.
