Job summary

Kier in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Multi Skilled Engineer to join the Facilities Management team on the Cambridgeshire County Council Contract. Based in Cambridgeshire, 40 hours per week, you will perform routine and reactive maintenance to keep buildings safe, compliant and operational.

You will undertake PPMs, diagnose faults across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fabric, supervise sub-contractors, and ensure RAMS and permits to work are in place.

Qualifications

• Electrical qualifications - Level 3 in Electrical Installations (C&G 236, 2391-52, 18th Edition, C&G 2382).
• Full driving licence held.
• Demonstrable multi-skilled experience in mechanical and fabric maintenance.
• Strong English language and computer literacy to update work tasks on tablets.

Responsibilities

• Undertake PPMs and Legionella compliance tasks.
• Diagnose faults and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, doors and fabric.
• Carry out minor carpentry, painting, plastering, tiling and flooring.
• Record PPM results on CAFM and report issues to Kier Helpdesk.
• Induct subcontractors and ensure RAMS and permits to work.
